Here are five cancer centers opening, expanding or suspending cancer services:

  1. Bridgeport, W.Va.-based WVU Medicine United Hospital is expanding radiation services at its Cecil B. Highland, Jr. & Barbara B. Highland Cancer Center.
  2. Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health will open the Sanford Cancer Center in Bismarck, N.D., on Feb. 6.
  3. Dalles, Ore.-based Mid-Columbia Medical Center will suspend medical oncology services at Celilo Cancer Center starting Feb. 28 due to staffing issues.
  4. Port Jefferson Station-based New York Cancer & Blood Specialists and OneOncology, the platform for independent community oncology practices, are partnering to expand cancer care in New York.
  5. Minneapolis-based Allina Health began construction on its Faribault Cancer Clinic, which will be in a repurposed room of the hospital.
