The Smilow Cancer Hospital at Greenwich (Conn.) Hospital will receive $25 million from an anonymous donor in honor of retired oncologist Dickerman Hollister, MD.

The gift will be used toward the renovation and expansion of cancer care facilities within Greenwich Hospital’s Olive and Thomas J. Watson Pavilion, and the Sherman and Gloria H. Cohen Pavilion, according to a Dec. 15 news release from the hospital.

Dr. Hollister retired in 2022 and previously served as chief of staff and head of medical oncology for Greenwich Hospital.
