University of Kansas Health System and University of Kansas Medical Center, both based in Kansas City, Kan., and Kansas City, Mo.-based Children’s Mercy have joined forces to establish a fully integrated theranostics platform for adult and pediatric patients.
The health systems have partnered with Grand Rapids, Mich.-based BAMF Health to develop the platform, according to a Feb. 17 news release from University of Kansas Health System.
Theranostics harnesses advanced imaging to deliver radiopharmaceuticals to diseased cells more precisely, the release said.
