Lexington-based University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center has added AdventHealth Manchester (Ky.) hospital to its affiliate network.
Through the affiliation, AdventHealth Manchester will develop a new oncology service line with support from UK Markey Cancer Center, according to a March 6 news release from the university.
UK Markey Cancer Center will also assist AdventHealth Manchester in earning accreditation from the Commission on Cancer accreditation.
The Markey Cancer Center Affiliate Network was established in 2006 and now includes 20 hospitals.
