Morgantown, W.Va.-based WVU Medicine has broken ground on a new cancer care facility in Wheeling, W.Va., according to a March 24 report from WTOV.
The WVU Cancer Institute St. Joseph Regional Cancer Complex is being constructed on the site of the former Ohio Valley Medical Center, the report said.
The facility is projected to cost $122 million and is expected to open in fall 2028.
