Mount Sinai, Ohio State win radiation oncology award

New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System and Columbus-based The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute will be honored by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists for the professionalism of their medical imaging and radiation therapy personnel.

The organizations will receive the 2026 BeRAD Professional Award at the American Society of Radiologic Technologists’ annual meeting in June, according to an April 10 news release from the organization.

The BeRAD Professional Award recognizes organizations that support radiation therapy and imaging teams through learning opportunities and adherence to processes that prioritize quality and safety for patients, the release said.
