Chicago-based Northwestern Medicine has partnered with Vizlitics on AI tools for cancer clinical trial matching and data management.

Northwestern worked with Vizlitics for two years to help design and develop the tools, which the system has now officially activated, according to a June 18 news release from the health system.

“The tools are designed to support clinical research teams while fitting seamlessly into existing health system workflows by screening [more than] 95% of the patients prior to their upcoming consultation,” the release said.

At the Becker's Perioperative Summit, taking place September 14–15 in Chicago, perioperative leaders and healthcare executives will focus on improving operating room efficiency, enhancing patient safety, optimizing staffing and driving innovation across surgical services.
