The National Cancer Institute has appointed Senthil Muthuswamy, PhD, director of the Center for Cancer Research.
Dr. Muthuswamy previously served as chief of the Laboratory of Cancer Biology and Genetics within the Center for Cancer Research, according to a July 27 NCI news release.
He joined the Center for Cancer Research in 2022 after serving in faculty and leadership positions at Cold Spring Harbor (N.Y.) Laboratory, Toronto-based Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Boston-based Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
