The University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center has partnered with Eli Lilly to expand clinical trial access across the Chicago area and Northwest Indiana.
The two-year partnership launched in February and is focused on opening clinical trials faster and more efficiently, according to an Aug. 10 news release from UChicago Medicine.
Program progress will be reviewed quarterly by both organizations.
“While sponsor-site relationships have traditionally focused on individual studies, this partnership is designed to create a more integrated framework built on aligned goals, defined priorities, measurable outcomes and continuous collaboration,” Lauren Wall, senior director of the UCCCC Clinical Trials Support Office, said in the release.
At the Becker's Perioperative Summit, taking place September 14–15 in Chicago, perioperative leaders and healthcare executives will focus on improving operating room efficiency, enhancing patient safety, optimizing staffing and driving innovation across surgical services.
