Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, will acquire the Nvidia H200-powered computing platform through a grant from the National Institutes of Health.
The platform will support large-scale artificial intelligence and machine learning applications for researchers in cancer biology, computational oncology, epidemiology, biostatistics, neuroscience, pathology, surgery and radiation oncology, according to an Aug. 11 news release from University of Miami.
Yan Guo, PhD, director of the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Shared Resource at Sylvester, will lead implementation of the system for researchers and programs across the university.
