Arlington, Va.-based VHC Health has received a $17.5 million donation to establish a new cancer center.
The Arlene Evans and Barry Dewberry Cancer Center will be located on the sixth floor of the Arlene Evans and Barry Dewberry Outpatient Pavilion, which has been renamed in honor of the donors, according to an Aug. 11 news release from the health system.
The new cancer center is expected to open in the summer of 2028 and offer medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, hematology, infusion therapy, diagnostics, imaging, research, palliative care and survivorship services.
