An investigational immunotherapy was found to almost double median overall survival in patients with previously treated squamous non-small cell lung cancer, according to new trial data.
Gotistobart, developed by BioNTech and OncoC4, showed a median overall survival of 18.5 months, nearly double the 10-month median among patients who received standard of care chemotherapy, according to a Sept. 14 news release from the companies.
The trial results were presented Sept. 14 at the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer’s World Conference on Lung Cancer in Seoul.
