Sarasota (Fla.) Memorial Health Care System plans to open an outpatient cancer center in Venice, Fla.
Preliminary site work has begun, with construction on the facility expected to be completed in 2028, according to a Sept. 24 news release from the health system.
The facility will house radiation, infusion, medical and surgical oncology services as well as imaging, integrative and supportive care, the release said.
Sarasota Memorial opened the seven-story outpatient Milman-Kover Cancer Pavilion on its Sarasota campus in June.
