Ascension Sacred Heart, which operates hospitals in Florida’s Pensacola, Panama City and Destin regions, has tapped Nikki Ireland as vice president of oncology.
Ms. Ireland previously served as oncology director at Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare’s Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Ga., according to a Sept. 24 news release from Ascension.
Prior to her time at HCA Healthcare, she served as oncology service line administrator for Columbia, Md.-based MedStar Health.
Ascension announced three additional leadership changes for the region: Drew Stringfellow was named interim vice president of strategy, Kristen Sylvester was named vice president of the cardiology and cardiovascular service line and Brad Nix, vice president of the neuroscience service line, will now also oversee orthopedics.
Ascension Sacred Heart is part of St. Louis-based Ascension health system.
