Geisinger opens cancer center

Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger opened a cancer center in Lewisburg, Pa., Aug. 6.

The Geisinger Cancer Center Lewisburg will begin serving patients Aug. 10, according to an Aug. 7 news release from the health system.

The facility has 12 exam rooms and 15 infusion stations. The outpatient clinic will offer medical and radiation oncology, hematology and palliative care services.
