Dan Theodorescu, MD, PhD, has been named director of Tuscon-based University of Arizona Cancer Center. He will step into the role March 1 after having served as director of Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai's Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute since 2018.

The Clemons Family Foundation has pledged $11 million to support cancer research and the completion of two building projects at UCI Health-Irvine in California. 

West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health and New Brunswick, N.J.-based Rutgers Cancer Institute have opened the Breast Health Center in East Brunswick, N.J.
