Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital and Somerville, Mass.-based Mass General Brigham have launched a joint ambulatory care network to serve Florida’s East Coast and expand outpatient services.
The joint venture will provide advanced imaging, oncology, outpatient surgery, primary care and specialty services to more than 2 million residents in the region. It will begin with a radiation oncology center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., that will open later in 2026, according to a Jan. 12 news release from Tampa General.
“This collaboration brings together two leading academic health systems with a shared commitment to clinical excellence and innovation,” Anne Klibanski, MD, CEO of Mass General Brigham, said in the release. “By creating a unified ambulatory network, we can broaden access to trusted physicians and advanced outpatient services, improve health outcomes, and deliver care that is more coordinated and patient-focused.”
The network will also grow Tampa General’s physician network, which currently spans 20 locations, and include clinical research and advanced training opportunities.
