Coral Gables, Fla.-based Baptist Health Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute has named Matthew Hall, MD, the Endowed Chair in Pediatric Radiation Oncology.
Dr. Hall is the lead pediatric radiation oncologist at the cancer institute and an associate professor of radiation oncology and pediatrics at Miami-based Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, according to a Sept. 4 news release from Baptist Health.
The endowment will support Dr. Hall’s research on reducing the long-term side effects of radiation therapy in pediatric cancer patients.
