UChicago Medicine has named James LaBelle, MD, PhD, chief of pediatric hematology-oncology, transplant and cellular therapy.
Dr. LaBelle was also named service line chief of pediatric cancer and blood diseases for the Chicagoland Children’s Health Alliance, according to a Sept. 22 LinkedIn post.
The CCHA brings together pediatric specialists from UChicago Medicine’s Comer Children’s Hospital, Pediatrics at Evanston, Ill.-based Endeavor Health, and Advocate Children’s Hospital, dually headquartered in Oak Lawn, Ill., and Park Ridge, Ill.
Dr. LaBelle began serving in both roles in an interim capacity in 2025.
