Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth has expanded the footprint of its cancer institute with the opening of a new cancer center in Winter Garden, Fla.
AdventHealth Winter Garden will begin treating patients at the new facility July 27, according to a July 20 news release from AdventHealth.
Services at the new facility include radiation and medical oncology, immunotherapy, personalized care plans and the Eden Spa and Boutique.
“This new home for the AdventHealth Cancer Institute at Winter Garden was thoughtfully designed with patients and families at the center,” Mazen Zaarour, MD, a hematologist and oncologist at AdventHealth Winter Garden, said in the release. “It brings together advanced treatments, specialized expertise and whole-person support so more people can receive expert care right in their backyard.”
