AdventHealth opens cancer pavilion

Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth has opened a cancer pavilion in Rome, Ga.

The facility has a breast center, on-site laboratory and pharmacy services, hematology and oncology specialists, nurse navigators, dietitians, social workers, and chaplain services, according to a July 16 news release shared with Becker’s.

At a July 15 ribbon-cutting ceremony, AdventHealth leaders shared plans to establish radiation therapy services and a Center for Whole-Person Care at the pavilion, the release said.
