Huntsville, Ala.-based Clearview Cancer Institute has partnered with Alliance Cancer Care to launch a Radiation Oncology Division.

According to a May 4 news release, Alliance Cancer Care’s eight radiation oncologists will lead the new division. The practice treats patients across north Alabama, delivering more than 58,000 radiation treatments annually at clinics in Huntsville, Decatur and Florence.

Clearview Cancer Institute will also explore opportunities to work with hospital partners to strengthen coordinated cancer care across the region. The new division will continue using advanced technology and treatment planning systems to deliver radiation therapy.

Clearview Cancer Institute went live on the OneOncology platform in April 2024. Before adding Alliance Cancer Care, the practice had 27 medical oncologists across 12 cancer care clinics in north Alabama communities.

At the Becker's Perioperative Summit, taking place September 14–15 in Chicago, perioperative leaders and healthcare executives will focus on improving operating room efficiency, enhancing patient safety, optimizing staffing and driving innovation across surgical services.
