Arizona system breaks ground on $39M cancer center

Northern Arizona Healthcare began construction March 25 on a cancer center at its Cottonwood, Ariz.-based Verde Valley Medical Center campus. 

The cancer center is expected to cost $39.5 million and open in September 2027, according to an April 7 report from Sedona Red Rock News

Northern Arizona Healthcare is a nonprofit health system with medical campuses in Cottonwood and Flagstaff, serving more than 750,000 residents, including tribal communities.
