Jacksonville, Fla.-based Baptist Health has tapped Robert Press, MD, as clinical director of proton therapy at the Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute in Boca Raton, Fla.
Dr. Press most recently served as head of the thoracic service line in the department of radiation oncology at the Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute, according to a Feb. 2 news release from the health system.
Before joining Baptist Health he was a radiation oncologist and disease site lead for central nervous system tumors and head and neck cancers at New York City-based New York Proton Center, the release said.
