Carilion Clinic expands clinical trial portfolio

Roanoke, Va.-based Carilion Clinic has expanded its clinical trial offerings to include radiopharmaceutical therapies. 

The first trials in the pipeline will focus on cancer pain, renal cell carcinoma and glioblastoma, according to a June 26 news release from Carilion Clinic.

Carilion Clinic recently joined Virginia Tech’s Fralin Biomedical Research at VTC, also in Roanoke, and is preparing for the 2028 opening of the Carilion Taubman Cancer Center.
