Dr. Nikolaev, a radiation oncologist, specializes in head and neck cancer and central nervous system disease sites. As a physician-scientist, his research is centered on molecular mechanisms of resistance to radiation, chemotherapy and immunotherapy, according to a March 2 news release sent to Becker’s.

Dr. Nikolaev earned his medical degree at Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine in Boca Raton.
