Boston-based Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has signed a letter of intent to build an ambulatory care building in Brighton, Mass.

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute President and CEO Benjamin Ebert, MD, PhD, shared news of the project in a June 8 LinkedIn post.

The facility is expected to open in summer 2029, pending regulatory approval, according to Dr. Ebert’s post, and will include exam rooms, infusion, pharmacy, radiology, lab and clinical trial services.

At the Becker's Perioperative Summit, taking place September 14–15 in Chicago, perioperative leaders and healthcare executives will focus on improving operating room efficiency, enhancing patient safety, optimizing staffing and driving innovation across surgical services.
