Fred Hutch Cancer Center names public health leader

Seattle-based Fred Hutch Cancer Center has appointed Chris Li, MD, PhD, senior vice president and director of its public health sciences division. 

Dr. Li also serves as the Helen G. Edson Endowed Chair for Breast Cancer Research, according to a news release shared with Becker’s

He succeeds Garnet Anderson, PhD, who has led the public health sciences division for 13 years. Dr. Li will step into the role July 1.
