Fred Hutch names chief strategy, clinical growth officer

Seattle-based Fred Hutch Cancer Center has appointed Nida Shekhani executive vice president and chief strategy and clinical growth officer. 

Ms. Shekhani will step into the role July 1, according to a June 3 LinkedIn post from the cancer center. 

She has served as deputy COO and chief strategy officer since July 2025.

Ms. Shekhani joined the “Becker’s Healthcare Podcast” to discuss leading the cancer center’s enterprisewide care delivery transformation. Known as Project Redwood, the initiative is a fundamental redesign of care delivery across the organization.
