The hospital has modified the details of the proposed 54,865-square-foot Smilow Cancer Center after officials rejected it last summer. The new proposal includes “30 percent more green space, is set further back from the road to preserve the look of the neighborhood, has moved parking underground, now accommodates a single entrance and exit to the site and facilitates greater walkability in the area,” according to Westchester & Fairfield Business Journals.
The Greenwich Planning and Zoning Commission and the Greenwich Architectural Review Committee are scheduled to begin judging the new proposal in April.
