MD Anderson Cancer Center breaks ground on $668M research facility

Houston-based University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center broke ground on a $668 million research facility Sept. 20, Houston Business Journal reported.

The 600,000-square-foot facility is the fifth building in MD Anderson’s south campus research park. It will house the research programs, including the James P. Allison Institute, and features public spaces such as a restaurant, conference center and lecture rooms.
