Tampa, Fla.-based Moffitt Cancer Center has opened the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Proton Center.
The proton therapy facility is located at Moffitt’s Speros Outpatient Center in Land O’Lakes, Fla., according to a July 28 news release from the cancer center.
The center is named in honor of a $15 million gift from Best Buy founder Dick Schulze and the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation.
