New cancer center to open in Indiana

Munster, Ind.-based health system Powers Health and Dyer, Ind.-based oncology group Northwest Cancer Centers have partnered to open a new cancer center.

The new Cancer Care Center will be built in Crown Point, Ind., and is projected to open in summer 2025, according to an Aug. 1 news release from Powers Health.

The center will provide access to clinical trials and genetic counseling alongside cancer care.
