Albuquerque-based University of New Mexico Hospital has relocated New Mexico’s only thyroid and parathyroid specialty clinic to Rio Rancho-based UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center.
The Head and Neck Endocrine Clinic was first established at the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center eight years ago, according to a Jan. 26 news release from the university.
The clinic team performs about 350 surgeries per year and is composed of the only head and neck oncologic surgeons in New Mexico.
