New York City-based NYU Langone opened the Perlmutter Cancer Center — Staten Island May 1.
The cancer center was created in partnership with New York Cancer & Blood Specialists, whose existing location was renovated into the new facility, according to a May 4 news release from NYU Langone.
New York Cancer & Blood Specialists physicians will continue to see patients at the new cancer center, which will also offer advanced diagnostic imaging, on-site infusion, pharmacy and laboratory services, the release said.
