Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis received a $17 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to address disparities in cancer research, treatment and outcomes according to a Nov. 6 press release.

Twenty percent of  patients who received chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy experienced adverse cardiovascular and pulmonary events, a study published in the November issue of Journal of the American College of Cardiology found. 

These six oncologists joined new practices or received new appointments over the last few months.
