Seattle-based Providence Swedish Cancer Institute has renovated and reopened an infusion center in Edmonds, Wash.
The facility has also been renamed the Jeffery C. Ward, MD Infusion Center in honor of Dr. Ward, who cared for patients in Edmonds for more than three decades before his death in 2022, according to a July 15 news release from Swedish.
The renovated facility doubles the center’s infusion capacity from 19 to 38 chairs, the release said.
Providence Swedish Cancer Institute opened a new infusion center and medical oncology clinic on the Providence Regional Medical Center Everett (Wash.) campus last fall.
