Buffalo, N.Y.-based Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center will leave Independent Health’s Individual Medicare Advantage network in 2026.
The move comes after Roswell Park learned the plan would start shifting more care costs to the patient, according to a statement shared on the cancer center’s website.
“We could not participate in a plan that would put our patients and community at risk for financial harm,” the statement said.
