A new cancer center providing medical oncology, radiation oncology and imaging services in Tullahoma, Tenn., opened Aug. 3.

The operator, Nashville-based Tennessee Oncology, said Tullahoma Medical Center “expands access to advanced cancer treatments and diagnostic services, reducing the need for patients to travel outside the Tullahoma region to receive care.” The center spans 33,000 square feet, according to an Aug. 3 news release.

Tennessee Oncology, which has operated for 50 years, said it treats nearly half of Tennessee’s cancer patients and is one of the nation’s largest community-based cancer care practices.
