Chapel Hill, N.C.-based UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center has launched an online dashboard that consolidates state- and county-level cancer data such as incidence, mortality and screening trends.
The North Carolina Cancer Health Assets and Needs Assessment dashboard is publicly available and operated through UNC Lineberger’s Office of Community Outreach and Engagement, according to a Feb. 16 news release from UNC Health.
The database draws from the North Carolina Central Cancer Registry, the CDC and the Cancer Information & Population Health Resource as well as community groups and surveys, the release said.
