UT Southwestern Medical Center partners on gene therapy

Dallas-based UT Southwestern Medical Center has partnered with InterAct Therapeutics to develop and commercialize a gene therapy designed to treat breast cancer liver metastasis.

The partnership builds on the research of Isaac Chan, MD, PhD, assistant professor of internal medicine in the division of hematology and oncology and of molecular biology at UT Southwestern, according to a March 24 news release from the health system.

Dr. Chan serves as a co-founder and chief scientific officer of InterAct Therapeutics.
