UW Health debuts proton therapy

Madison, Wis.-based UW Health has begun offering proton therapy services at Eastpark Medical Center, also in Madison. 

Proton therapy services are available for adult patients who are participating in a clinical trial, according to a July 28 news release from UW Health.

The health system plans to provide the option for patients to receive proton therapy in a seated, upright position in the future.
