Madison, Wis.-based UW Health and the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health have named Christian Capitini, MD, director of the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center.
Dr. Capitini will step into the role April 19 after serving as acting director since December 2024, according to an April 1 news release from the university.
He currently serves as chief of the division of hematology, oncology, transplant and cellular therapy in the department of pediatrics at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.
