Nashville, Tenn.-based Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, part of Vanderbilt Health, will establish a pediatric leukemia program after receiving a $5 million gift.
The gift will support directorships in pediatric leukemia care advancements, cancer predisposition and precision oncology, according to an Aug. 4 news release from Vanderbilt Health.
The program, called Lily’s Garden Pediatric Leukemia Program, will also provide mental healthcare services and family-focused initiatives, the release said.
