Dr. Teshome will oversee breast surgical oncology across the system, including at the UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, according to a Jan. 18 system news release.
Previously, she was an associate professor at the Houston-based University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, program director of its breast surgical oncology fellowship program and the professional ambassador for its surgery division.
