Seattle-based Fred Hutch Cancer Center has appointed Mazyar Shadman, MD, and Vyshak Alva Venur, MD, as deputy chief medical officers.
Both have served as interim deputy chief medical officers since September, according to a March 10 LinkedIn post from the cancer center.
Dr. Shadman will serve as deputy CMO for classical hematology, hematologic malignancies, transplant and immunotherapy. Dr. Venur will serve as deputy CMO for solid tumor and acute care services, the post said.
The appointments are effective April 1.
