New York City-based Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center has appointed Martin Weiser, MD, chair of the department of surgery.
Dr. Weiser joined Memorial Sloan Kettering 25 years ago and has served as acting department chair for the past 10 months, according to a June 3 LinkedIn post from the cancer center.
He also currently holds the Stuart H.Q. Quan Chair in Colorectal Surgery.
