The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services has selected five hospitals to participate in a rural cancer care network under the state’s newly established Combat Cancer Health Hub.
The Combat Cancer Health Hub will operate as a hub-and-spoke cancer care model and is funded through CMS’ Rural Health Transformation Program, according to a June 18 news release from the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services.
The five Iowa hospitals joining the network are:
- Ottumwa Regional Health Center
- Wayne County Hospital (Corydon)
- Shenandoah Medical Center
- Greater Regional Medical Center (Creston)
- Mary Greeley Medical Center (Ames)
