Nature Medicine has retracted a study that linked immunochemotherapy treatment time to improved survival among patients with non-small cell lung cancer.
The study, led by researchers from Changsha, China-based Hunan Cancer Hospital, was published Feb. 2 in Nature Medicine.
Concerns over unexpected and uncommon data patterns, changes made to the study’s clinical trial registration and translation discrepancies were raised after publication, Nature Medicine said in a June 24 retraction note.
“Due to the amount and nature of the problems identified, the editors no longer have confidence in the integrity of the results,” the note said.
At the Becker's Perioperative Summit, taking place September 14–15 in Chicago, perioperative leaders and healthcare executives will focus on improving operating room efficiency, enhancing patient safety, optimizing staffing and driving innovation across surgical services.
