RWJBarnabas taps chief medical officer of oncology

West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health and RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group have named Andrew Evans, DO, senior vice president and chief medical officer for oncology services. 

Dr. Evans shared news of his appointment in an Aug. 16 LinkedIn post. 

He has served as deputy director for clinical services at the Rutgers Cancer Institute and chief physician officer at the Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center, both based in New Brunswick, N.J., since 2024.
